Ian Rees

Ian Rees is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in the education sector, currently serving as Chair of the Board at Audit Wales and The Aloud Charity, and as a Council Member at Bangor University since October 2019. Rees has a notable background as a Management Consultant following a successful tenure as an Executive Director in Further Education. Previous roles include Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee and member of the Audit Committee for the Welsh Language Commissioner, as well as various leadership positions at Grŵp Llandrillo Menai and Coleg Llandrillo Cymru. Rees is academically distinguished with a BSc (Hons) and PhD in Physics from Aberystwyth University.
