Tom Egan

Thomas Egan is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in the finance and airline industries. Currently serving as Director and Advisor at Auditchain Labs AG since April 2022, Egan previously held the role of Industry Accounting Technical Expert at the International Air Transport Association from April 2016 to December 2022, where advisory responsibilities included the implementation of IFRS standards for the airline industry. Egan has also contributed significant expertise to Standard Chartered Bank, holding various positions including Group Head of Accounting Policy and Advisory and Global Head of Technical Accounting - Wholesale Banking, where efficiencies were achieved that resulted in cost reductions. Earlier career experience includes a Director of Technical Accounting role at Deloitte. Egan's academic credentials include a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Strategy from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, along with a Master's Degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Marquette University.
