Kim Smith

Kim Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in auditing, compliance, and financial reporting. Currently serving as a Senior Associate at AuditOne LLC since September 2020, Kim also operates KLTS CONSULTING LLC, assisting community banks with their accounting and compliance needs. Previous roles include Vice President of Financial Reporting and Special Projects at CresCom Bank and Director of Internal Audit at Carolina Financial Corporation, where Kim developed risk-based audit plans and supervised external audit teams. Additional experience includes positions at BNC Bank and Beach First National Bank, alongside a long tenure at Mercantile Bankshares, managing financial services and internal audit operations. Kim holds a Master's degree in Finance from Loyola University Maryland and a Bachelor's degree in Management from Hood College.
