At the Augenzentrum Amann (Amann Eye Centre), we cover the entire spectrum of conservative ophthalmology. We provide patients with personalised support based on the latest medical and research findings, from the initial question to diagnosis and treatment options.

It is particularly important to us to look after patients, taking into account all aspects of their life situation, and to work with them to find the best way forward for them personally. Laser surgery for secondary cataracts (cataracta secundaria) or glaucoma is also possible. We can perform minor surgical procedures, such as the removal of a sty (chalazion) or a wart (verruca) near the eye, in a specially equipped operating room. For operations such as those required for cataracts, glaucoma and retinal surgery, we work closely with eye surgeons in the region. This enables us to organise everything smoothly and efficiently, from the examination and diagnosis at the eye centre to the operation abroad and the follow-up check back at the eye centre. The aim is to guide patients as stress-free and competently as possible through the often unfamiliar and therefore nerve-wracking process of an eye disease.

In the field of aesthetic medicine, Dr Elke Amann also offers injections with botulinum toxin and hyaluronic acid fillers.
