Daniel Chen

Daniel Chen is a finance professional with a diverse background in strategic finance and investment banking. Currently employed at Augment since 2025, Daniel is involved in building AI agents for the logistics industry, supported by notable investors such as Redpoint and Shopify. Prior to Augment, Daniel served as Director of Strategic Finance at Shopify and Deliverr Inc., the latter of which was acquired by Shopify for $2.5 billion. Daniel's experience also includes work in investment banking at Broadhaven and Allen & Company, focusing on M&A and capital raising within the fintech, internet, and media sectors, as well as a tenure at Citadel in the hedge fund industry. Daniel holds a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago.
