Tamuz Hod

Tamuz Hod is an experienced professional specializing in data engineering and machine learning, currently serving as the Data Annotation Manager at Augment Code since August 2024. Previously, Tamuz worked at Plato Systems as a Staff Data Engineer, focusing on data collection and annotation pipelines while utilizing Apache Spark and Databricks. Contributions at Google included roles as an ML Infrastructure Engineer and a Software Engineer Intern, where Tamuz developed crowd compute plugins and Android applications. Additionally, Tamuz has a background in research as a Student Researcher at the UCSD Computational Neuroscience Lab and participated in the B Swarm incubator program at The Basement UC San Diego. Tamuz holds a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science with a specialization in Machine Learning and Neural Computation from UC San Diego.
