Co-Founder / CTO at Augment Therapy

Steve Blake has been in the tech industry since 1985, when they started their own business, Steve Blake Design. In 1993, they began working as a Software Developer for LEGO Mindstorms at Interactive Factory. In 2000, they became a Senior Developer at Tim Peters and Company, Inc., where they developed patient-centered software for medication management and education. In 2003, they worked as a Lexia Cross-Trainer Developer for Lexia Learning Systems, where they developed 3D-based software for enhancing cognitive skills in children and adults. In 2011, they joined Lexia Learning as a Software Developer, Composer, and Sound Designer, where they developed the RAPID Assessment client for browser and iPad, as well as composed and designed sound for Lexia's Core5 Reading program. In 2018, they became the Co-Founder and CTO of Augment Therapy LLC, where they developed augmented reality pediatric physical therapy applications using 3D sensing cameras to monitor user's movements without attached devices, as well as an augmented reality Brain Break book designed to wake kids up as opposed to putting them to sleep.

Steve Blake began their education in 1973 with private study of Music Composition, Golden Section, and Dynamic Symetry under Dr. Hugo Norden. In the same year, they also studied Music Composition and French Horn at Boston University School of Fine Arts until 1974.
