Alex Ashbourne

Alex Ashbourne is a Senior Computational Scientist at Augmenta since January 2020, having previously served as a Computational Scientist within the same company. Prior to Augmenta, Alex worked at Forming Technologies as an Applied Mathematician/Software Developer from January 2017 to December 2019. Academic experience includes serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo from September 2014 to April 2016, focusing on time integration methods and algorithm development. Additionally, a background as a PASS Leader at Bethune College and a Research Assistant at York University showcases leadership and numerical methods expertise. Alex holds a Master of Mathematics (M.MATH) in Applied Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Applied Mathematics from York University.
