Christopher Emig

Co-Founder & CEO at Augmenta Bioworks

Christopher Emig is the co-founder and CEO of Augmenta Bioworks. Christopher has a background in computational biology, bioinformatics, and laboratory automation. Prior to founding Augmenta Bioworks, they were a research assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a project manager and process engineer at Codon Devices, and a sole proprietor at Conceptual Design & Engineering. Christopher has also been a scientific advisor at Gen9, Inc. and a consultant for Self Employed.

Christopher Emig received a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioengineering from Stanford University. Christopher also holds a MEng in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as Dual BS degrees in Biology and Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the same school.
