Tomas Vega

Tomas Vega is a Co-Founder & Engineer at Augmental Tech. Tomas was previously an R&D Intern at Neuralink from June 2018 to August 2018 where they worked in multiple areas of the brain-computer interface stack, including electrophysiology, networking, embedded systems, hardware design and assembly, microfabrication, and robotics. Tomas was also a Graduate Student Researcher at MIT Media Lab from September 2017 to September 2019 where they developed wearable devices for cognitive enhancement for applications in information access, sleep engineering, and emotional regulation.

Tomas Vega's educational career includes earning a Master's of Science in Media Arts and Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Cognitive Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a High School diploma in Computer Science from Markham College in Lima, Peru.
