Matt Cave

Matt Cave has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Matt is currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at AUGMENTT since October 2022. Prior to this, they held the same role at Avanti Software Inc. from August 2020 to August 2022.

Before that, Matt worked at Rangle.io from March 2018 to May 2019 as the Group Technical Director, responsible for overseeing a team of 40 developers, architects, and technical directors. Matt was also a part of the technical senior leadership team and contributed to Rangle's technical strategy.

From September 2013 to March 2018, Matt was the VP of Technology at Klick, where they led the technical development of various digital marketing projects in the healthcare space. Matt ensured flawless technical delivery and high-quality standards for clients.

Matt started their career at Symantec Cloud Services, where they held several roles from 2003 to 2012. Matt served as the Director of Technical Services from July 2010 to June 2012, responsible for global sourcing strategy and introducing Scrum methodology to the development team. Matt also held the position of Director of Support, Director of QA, Test Manager, Critical Problem Manager, and Architecture Engineer during their tenure at Symantec.

In addition to their professional roles, Matt also took on a short project as a Solution Architect at Proset Inc. in 2013, where they developed a Slotting Toolkit for a retail merchandising provider.

Matt Cave attended the University of East Anglia from 1996 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Applied Computing with a focus on Computer Science. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in September 2020. In September 2016, they also earned the Adobe Certified Expert - Adobe Experience Manager 6.0 Business Practitioner certification. Most recently, in January 2022, Matt obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate certification from Microsoft.
