Hardware & System Group Manager at Augury

Ronen Salomon has a strong background in hardware and system management. From 2019 onwards, they worked at Augury, where they led the company's end-to-end IoT systems and collaborated with the product team to define market and customer needs. Ronen also streamlined the certification process and managed a team of 10 engineers, as well as subcontractors.

Prior to Augury, Ronen worked at RADA Electronic Industries Ltd. as a system engineering group manager from 2018 to 2019. In this role, they provided technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams, including algorithm, mechanics, hardware, and software. Ronen also troubleshooted and resolved customer challenges through field experiments.

From 2007 to 2018, Ronen was employed at Opgal, where they held various roles. As a group project manager from 2014 to 2018, they oversaw complicated EVS and security projects. Ronen worked closely with a team of engineers, managed system integration, and handled tasks such as proof of concept, design, and specification writing. Before that, they served as a system engineer and a board design engineer, where they designed complex analog and digital boards, conducted thermal engine core design, and worked with advanced technologies such as FPGA and DSP.

Ronen Salomon completed their education history as follows. From 2017 to 2019, they attended the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2007, Ronen attended Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they obtained a BSC degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. During their time at Ben-Gurion University, they also successfully completed a final project with honors. In the earlier years, from 1995 to 1997, Ronen attended the IAF Technological College as an air force cadet, where they specialized in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and earned a degree as an Electronics Practical Engineer.
