Caleb Smith

Caleb Smith has a diverse work experience in the field of software and hardware engineering. Caleb is currently working as a Software Consultant at augustwenty since October 2021. Prior to this, Caleb worked at Edaptive Computing, Inc. as a Hardware Verification Engineer from March 2019 to October 2021. In this role, they utilized formal methods and verilog testbenches to verify hardware designs and designed testing methods for hardware tests using simulation and emulation. Caleb also wrote baremetal C tests to verify the functionality of different parts of a System-on-Chip (SoC), including AES, DDR4, and UDIMM.

Before joining Edaptive Computing, Caleb served as a Research Assistant at Wright State University from May 2018 to August 2018. Additionally, they gained experience as a Software Developer Intern at Applied Optimization from April 2017 to November 2017 and as a Software Engineer Intern at Next Gen Federal Systems from May 2016 to April 2017. In these internships, they contributed to software development projects and gained practical skills in the field.
