Simon Bauer

Simon Bauer serves as the Head of Product Cybersecurity & Privacy Office ENP at AUMOVIO since September 2025, following a similar role at Continental from September 2016 to September 2025. At Continental, Simon led functional safety and security management for market EU projects, released safety and security concepts and certificates, and was involved in ISO21434 compliance assessments. Additionally, Simon held various roles including Project Security & Privacy Manager and Security Consultant for advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). Academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration in International Business from Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt, a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Embedded Systems, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering & Information Technology from Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences. Each academic achievement further enhances Simon’s expertise in cybersecurity and engineering within the automotive sector.
