Stefan V. is currently the Head of Artificial Intelligence Governance at AUMOVIO and oversees the artificial intelligence infrastructure laboratory in the AI and robotics department of Continental in Regensburg, Germany. Having earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science in 1995, they worked on various software architecture projects at Robert Bosch GmbH from 1997 to 2005, then joined Siemens VDO Automotive as a project leader in the AUTOSAR consortium and later as a product manager until 2008. Between 2011 and 2017, Stefan led significant projects, including the realization of automated driving and the international “ITEA - SAFE” project focused on functional safety processes.
