Jack Tade

Jack Tade, CPA, currently serves as Deputy Chief Financial Officer at the Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy since August 2023. Prior to this role, Jack held the position of Corporate Controller at the Institute for Defense Analyses from July 2022 to August 2023, and at Associated Universities Inc. from March 2017 to July 2022. Jack's experience also includes serving as Corporate Controller at ASRC Federal and as Vice President, Corporate Controller at SRI International, where responsibilities encompassed management of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, travel, payroll, and year-end financial statements. Earlier experience includes the role of VP/Controller for the Engineering & Integration Solution Sector at Alion Science and Technology, overseeing financial management across multiple business units, and VP/Controller at SAIC for the Technology Research & Integration Business Unit, focusing on financial planning and internal controls. Jack Tade earned a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of San Diego from 1983 to 1987.
