Marwan Meroue is a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in commodity trading and risk analysis. As the CEO and Co-Founder of Aura Commodities since April 2018, Marwan leads a team that develops advanced interfaces for visualizing commodity weather risks and supply-demand data across various agricultural products. Previously, Marwan served as a Founding Partner at Baal Capital, where algorithms were created to detect weather disruptions in agricultural and energy markets. Early career experience includes roles as a Gasoil Trader at Madex Resources and a Rice Trader at BVM Commodities, as well as a position in business development at CMA CGM, where a predictive model for commodity harvests was developed. Marwan's background also includes experience in structured equity derivatives at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and a Master's degree in Finance from the City, University of London.
