Emily Moyer has extensive work experience in industrial design and innovation consulting. Emily is the founder of Emily Moyer Industrial Design, where they have been working since 2008. In this role, they have provided consulting services to various companies, including Aura Home, Bark & Co., Hubly Surgical, L'Oreal, Mimi Medcessories, Square Inc/Block. Emily'swork involves crafting 3D innovation and collaborating with top-level executives from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.

In addition to their consultancy work, Emily Moyer has held various roles in different organizations. Emily is currently a Consulting Member at The Upside, starting in 2022. Emily is also a Founding Member of Dreamers & Doers®, starting in 2019.

Emily was previously involved with Aura Home, Inc., where they served as an Executive Advisor and Founding Design Director from 2015 to 2018. Emily'sresponsibilities included building a lean design team, brand building, design and implementation of the first product line, and innovation strategy.

Prior to starting their own consultancy, Emily Moyer worked as an Industrial Design Lead at Kicker Studio from 2008 to 2013. Emily was a founding member of the collective, specializing in Natural User Interface (NUI) design.

Emily Moyer also has experience in teaching, having served as an Instructor of Industrial Design at the Academy of Art University from 2009 to 2011. Emily taught junior year undergraduate industrial design studio and prepared students for product design competitions.

Earlier in their career, Emily Moyer worked as a Design Director at Brandimage (now SGK) - laga | one80 design and Degrippes Gobe from 2005 to 2008. Emily led product and package innovation for various Fortune 500 companies.

Emily started their career as an Industrial Designer at Arnell Group's Industrial Design Innovation Lab in 2004, where they were part of the founding team. Emily worked on product concept generation and 3D modeling for clients such as Electrolux, Unilever, Masterfoods, PepsiCo, and Muhammed Ali.

Before that, Emily Moyer worked as a freelance Industrial Designer at Callaway Arts & Entertainment from 2001 to 2004. Emily developed products for the Sunny Patch brand, which are still produced and top sellers for Melissa & Doug.

Emily began their professional journey as an Industrial Designer at A2 Inc. in 1999. Emily was involved in award-winning product development and led the internship program at the company.

Overall, Emily Moyer has a diverse background in industrial design, strategy, and innovation. Emily has collaborated with a wide range of companies and has held various leadership positions throughout their career.

Emily Moyer has a diverse education history. Emily first attended Cornell College from 1992 to 1994, where they pursued liberal arts and fine arts without completing a degree. Emily then transferred to The University of Kansas, where they earned their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Industrial Design from 1994 to 1998. During their time at The University of Kansas, Emily also participated in summer studies at the Rhode Island School of Design in 1995 and 1996, focusing on Industrial Design and sculpture.

In terms of additional certifications, Emily obtained a certificate in Sustainable Leadership Deep Knowledge from the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) in May 2022. Emily also acquired a Marketing Strategy certification from Cornell University in February 2023.
