Joshua Auerbach

Joshua Auerbach has a wealth of work experience, beginning with their role as Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning at GreenPoint Bank from 1996 to 2001. Joshua then moved to America Online, where they were Vice President of Product Development from 2001 to 2003. After that, they were Vice President of Strategic Planning and Vice President of Alliances and Technology Strategy at Time Warner Inc. from 2003 to 2008. During this time, they were also self-employed as an Advisor on Strategy and Corporate Finance, advising Summize Inc. on its sale to Twitter and i'minlikewithyou (now OMGPOP) on its Series A funding round. In 2008, they became Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development at Quantcast. From 2009 to 2016, Joshua was a Venture Partner and Partner and Chief Financial Officer at Betaworks Studio, managing corporate development, financial planning and analysis, tax, office operations and IT, and HR of the startup studio. Joshua also represented Betaworks on the boards of SocialFlow and Digg, and co-led the Hacker in Residence program to create new startups in the studio. In 2016, Joshua became Corporate Advisor at Auerbach Digital Ventures, LLC and Interim Chief Executive Officer at Digg. Finally, they were Chief Operating Officer at SpokenLayer from 2017 to 2019, and is currently Chief Operating Officer at Aura Home, Inc.

Joshua Auerbach attended Greens Farms Academy from 1982 to 1986. Joshua then went on to Harvard University, where they earned an AB in Economics from 1986 to 1990.
