Joost Hazelhoff has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Starting in 2003, they worked as a Policy Analyst at World Perspectives, Inc. for over a year. In 2004, they became a Policy Analyst at the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture, and Innovation, specializing in Trade Agreements and the EU Common Agricultural Policy. From 2006 to 2009, they held the position of Director of Food and Agribusiness Research at Rabobank, leading a global team of analysts and providing strategic advisory services. In 2008, they also started working as an Advisor for Europe at World Perspectives, Inc. In 2019, they served as an Interim CSO at EagleSensing before joining Rockstart as a Mentor in the Agrifood industry. Most recently, they assumed the role of COO at Aurea Imaging in 2020, where they focus on bringing innovative deep learning technologies and smart farming solutions to agriculture.
Joost Hazelhoff completed their Masters in international trade agreements, politics, and economics at Wageningen University & Research from 1998 to 2004. Prior to that, they attended WLG from 1991 to 1997.
