Alex Gilbert

Alex Gilbert is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the engineering and project management sectors. Since June 2007, Alex has served as Managing Principal and Bid Director for Aurecon, overseeing collaborations with the Australian Department of Defense for Base Services Transformation contracts and engaging in significant transport projects as an Alliance Leadership Team representative. Previous roles at Aurecon include Head of Projects for Victoria and South Australia, Major Project Director for the West Gate Tunnel Project, and Technical Director for the Roads and Transport Planning team. Prior to joining Aurecon, Alex worked as a Senior Engineer at Mott MacDonald on various road transport projects globally. Alex holds a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering from the University of Birmingham.
