Ben McGarry is a highly experienced professional in the energy and engineering sectors, currently serving as Principal of Decarbonisation at Aurecon, where leadership of the Decarbonisation Advisory team focuses on developing strategies for clients within the evolving energy landscape. Previously, Ben held the position of Global Capability Leader in Future Energy, driving initiatives related to the global energy transition. A graduate of the Aurecon Design Academy, Ben is committed to innovative design-led thinking and has been recognized as one of Engineers Australia's Most Innovative Engineers in 2019. With prior roles including Director at KPMG Corporate Finance LLC and Project Engineer at CS Energy, Ben has a strong background in infrastructure advisory and renewable energy project development. Ben earned a PhD in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Queensland.
