Christopher Welch

Christopher Welch is an accomplished professional with a strong background in design automation and computational design. Currently serving as Lead Consultant at Aurecon since July 2017, Christopher has progressed through various roles including Senior Consultant and Consultant in the same field. Prior experience includes teaching and research positions at Victoria University of Wellington, where Christopher contributed as an Honorary Research Associate and Teaching Fellow across multiple courses related to design communication and generative design. Earlier roles also encompass parametric design specialization at Productspec + Smartspec, as well as architectural and research positions that have honed skills in 3D modeling and prototyping. Christopher holds a Master of Architecture focused on Parametric Design and a Bachelor of Architectural Studies from Victoria University of Wellington.
