Colin Sheldon

Colin Sheldon is a professional with extensive experience in engineering and asset management. Currently serving as a Sessional Academic at Queensland University of Technology since July 2024, Colin teaches the Mechanical Systems Design unit. Simultaneously, as a Manager at Aurecon, Colin focuses on advisory roles within the Asset Management & Performance team. Prior to these roles, Colin worked at Deloitte from July 2017 to November 2023, initially as a Senior Asset Management Specialist and later as a Senior Specialist Lead in the Climate & Engineering Portfolio. Colin’s career began at Anglo American, where roles included Longwall Planner, Package Engineer, and Graduate Engineer from November 2010 to June 2017. Colin holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Queensland, alongside certifications in Mechanical Trade and Fluid Power from Australian Skills Group and Outsource Institute of Technology, respectively.
