Dane Murphy

Dane Murphy is a seasoned professional in digital modeling and building information modeling (BIM) with substantial experience in various leadership roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as a Lead Consultant in Digital Modeling at Aurecon since July 2022, Dane has previously held significant positions including BIM Manager and BIM Leader at Northrop Consulting Engineers, and Senior BIM Coordinator at Star Group of Companies Australia. Notable contributions include the production of 3D BIM documentation for the North West Rail Link project and extensive experience in mentoring and training teams in the use of BIM software. Dane's career commenced in 2001 with Hyder Consulting as an Electrical/Mechanical Apprentice Drafter, and educational credentials include a degree in Lighting Principles from Petersham College and certification in Revit from CAD Group.
