David Stanton

David Stanton is a highly experienced professional in ecology and biodiversity with a robust career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Director of Ecology and Biodiversity at Aurecon since December 2022, David has also held the position of Director at aec Ltd. since March 2008, focusing on ecological impact assessments, wetland design, and wildlife surveys. Previous roles include Ecologist at Atkins China Ltd. and CSA Environmental, and Conservation Ecologist at British Waterways. David began as a Freelance Ecologist at THE ROBERT STEBBINGS CONSULTANCY LIMITED and has academic qualifications that include an MSc in Ecology and Management of the Natural Environment from the University of Bristol and a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science from De Montfort University.
