Derek Jacobs is an experienced professional in transportation planning and project management, currently serving as the Operations and Systems Planning Manager for the George Integrated Public Transport Network at Zutari since October 2021. With a background at AURECON since January 2009, Derek has managed various projects involving transport, traffic, housing, and infrastructure. Responsibilities include project planning, budgeting, scope and quality management, and client liaison. Derek holds a Master's Degree in Transportation Planning from the University of Cape Town and another Master's Degree in Town and Regional Planning from the University of the Free State, complemented by a BA Honors in Urban Geography from the University of Port Elizabeth.
