Dr. Bari Thomas is a chartered geologist with over 25 years of international geological and geotechnical experience. Currently serving as the Technical Director of Engineering Geology at Aurecon, Dr. Thomas specializes in engineering geology and geotechnical models for the civil engineering industry. They have previously held roles such as Senior Engineering Geologist and Associate/Team Leader Ground Engineering at Aurecon, as well as positions at Scott Wilson and Mott MacDonald. Dr. Thomas earned a PhD in Civil Engineering/Geotechnics from the University of South Wales.
