Emma O'Neill

Emma O'Neill is an accomplished professional in sustainable water management and environmental planning, currently serving as the Queensland Sustainable Water Capability Lead at Aurecon since November 2021. With a strong background that includes roles as Manager of Environment & Planning and Sustainability Program Manager at CCIQ, Emma possesses extensive experience in providing strategic advice on ESG, climate resilience, and integrated water management across various sectors in Australia and New Zealand. Previous positions at Seqwater and the Kiribati Ministry for Environment, Lands and Agriculture Development have reinforced Emma's expertise in climate change adaptation, land management, and stakeholder engagement. Educated at Lincoln University and other institutions, Emma holds multiple degrees and certifications, including a Bachelor of Environmental Management and a Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Management.
