Gemma Keane

Gemma Keane is a water industry leader with a strong background in sustainable water management and a commitment to inclusion and diversity. Beginning their career as a process engineer in commissioning and operations, Gemma has expanded their expertise through various roles in project delivery across the water sector, most recently serving as the Land & Water Leader for NSW & ACT at Aurecon. Gemma has led multidisciplinary teams to deliver critical water, wastewater, and recycled water infrastructure projects, while advocating for underrepresented voices in engineering. Having earned dual degrees in Chemical Engineering and Marketing from the University of Sydney, they combine technical knowledge with a collaborative approach to achieve impactful results.
