James Collett is a seasoned professional in infrastructure and government relations, currently serving as the Canberra Office Leader and Federal Government Client Manager at Aurecon since September 2017. With previous leadership experience as General Manager in various roles within the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts from 2005 to September 2017, James managed significant branches related to transport and policy development. Prior experience includes various positions at the Australian Customs Service from 2001 to 2005, where responsibilities included the implementation of cargo examination facilities. James holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the Australia New Zealand School of Government and a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts and Law from The Australian National University.
