James Rafferty has extensive experience in civil engineering, with a focus on bridge and structural engineering. Currently serving as the Bridges & Civil Structures Practice Leader for Victoria and South Australia at Aurecon since November 2017, James has held various roles including Associate Bridge Engineer, Lead Bridge Engineer, and Senior Bridge Engineer. Prior to this, James worked at GHD as a Senior Structural Engineer, and at Jacobs as a Structural Engineer. James began a professional career as a Cadet Engineer at Sinclair Knight Merz. James holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Civil Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology, graduated in 2009.
