James Thorley is an experienced environmental and planning consultant currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Aurecon since November 2022, after previously holding the role of Consultant in the same field. Prior to this position, James worked at Burnett Mary Regional Group from July 2021 to November 2022, advancing from Project Officer to Senior Project Officer. Earlier experience includes serving as an Academic Tutor at the University of the Sunshine Coast for a brief period in early 2021 and working as an Environmental Officer at Pelican Waters Caloundra from February 2016 to June 2021. James holds an Honours degree in Environmental Science from the University of the Sunshine Coast, earned between 2015 and 2020.
