James Zhang is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in structural engineering and project management. Currently serving as a Technical Director at Aurecon since March 2022, James previously held the position of Associate Director at AECOM from March 2017 to March 2022, where responsibilities included multiple roles ranging from Senior Engineer to Associate. Prior to AECOM, James contributed to Mott MacDonald as a Project Manager/Senior Engineer from November 2013 to March 2017, notably serving as a Structural Engineering Consultant for the Wynn Palace podium structure. James began a career in structural engineering at GHD from February 2008 to November 2013, leading multidisciplinary projects. An alumnus of the University of Melbourne, James holds dual degrees in Civil Engineering and Commerce, complemented by foundational education at Hale School.
