Jo Barnett

Jo Barnett is a highly experienced planning professional, currently serving as the Manager of Environment and Planning at Aurecon since May 2021. With a robust background in urban and environmental planning, Jo held the position of Senior Town Planner at AECOM from March 2017 to May 2021, and prior to that, Jo worked in a similar capacity at Tract Consultants. Jo began the planning career at ERM: Environmental Resources Management as a Planner and has also contributed consultancy expertise at Sphere Planning. Early career experiences at BMDA and GHD provided significant exposure to the Victorian planning system, resource management, and stakeholder engagement. Jo holds a Bachelor of Planning (Hons) from The University of Auckland and a Diploma of Interior Design from The Interior Design Institute.
