John Hilton

John Hilton serves as the Global Capability Leader for Bridges and Civil Structures at Aurecon, a position held since August 1987. In this role, John is tasked with promoting Aurecon’s technical brand, developing training and skills, managing resource allocation, and enhancing business development efforts. John also plays a significant role in advancing digital engineering for bridges, conducting technical reviews, and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing within the organization. Prior to joining Aurecon, John held the role of Global Service Leader at Crooks Michell Peacock Stewart Pty Ltd from 1981 to 1986 and served as a Senior Bridge Engineer at GHD from 1975 to 1980. John holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Civil Engineering from the University of Sydney, attained between 1970 and 1974.
