John Searls

John Searls is a senior general manager and executive leader in asset management with over 25 years of experience driving transformational change in the asset-intensive industry. As the Managing Principal for Aurecon's Asset Management and Performance Advisory, they lead a team focused on achieving sustainable investment outcomes. John has previously managed Rio Tinto’s World Class Asset Management program and served as a Non-Executive Director at Dream Big Australia, promoting STEM education for young women. They hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical & Manufacturing from the University of Melbourne and various qualifications in leadership and governance.
