Liam Wythes

Liam Wythes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in major infrastructure projects, currently serving as Principal and Delivery Director at Aurecon since September 2014. Notably, Liam leads the Reference Design for the Suburban Rail Loop project in Melbourne and previously managed the detailed design of the new underground metro platforms at Central Station. Liam’s expertise also includes serving as Design Manager for the Auckland City Rail Link, where responsibilities encompassed the significant Britomart Station upgrade. Before joining Aurecon, Liam held the position of Associate, managing projects such as the South Sydney Freight Line and Glenfield Junction. Liam's career also includes a role as Engineering and Design Manager at Novo Rail Alliance. Educationally prepared with a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil from UNSW and advanced qualifications in Engineering Management and Business Administration from the University of Technology, Sydney, Liam combines technical acumen with strong project management skills.
