Manfred Braun

Manfred Braun is an experienced professional in the fields of ports, marine, and coastal engineering, currently serving as Principal and Ports, Marine & Coastal Practice Leader for Aurecon since April 2012. With a focus on managing significant marine-related projects exceeding AUD 1 billion in CAPEX, Manfred has a robust background in project management and financial oversight. Prior to joining Aurecon, Manfred held leadership roles such as General Manager at Bauer Resources Australia and Project Manager at K-Prestige Network in Malaysia, where notable achievements included securing major contracts and implementing complex engineering solutions. Manfred's engineering career spans various roles in geotechnical design and project management across multiple countries, complemented by a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from Hochschule München and a Strategic Leadership Program from Melbourne Business School.
