Mark Leighton

Mark Leighton serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at Aurecon since October 2021, previously holding the same title at KPMG Australia from January 2001 to September 2021. At KPMG, Mark was responsible for all IT security related to internal and client-held data and systems, and held several roles focused on technology risk and operational risk management, culminating in senior management positions. Earlier in the career, Mark managed logistics and support for major events at KPMG and held managerial roles in digital imaging at Latrobe Studios Pty Ltd and Visual Horizons Pty Ltd. Mark holds a Master of Business and Technology from UNSW and a Bachelor of Computing in Robotics and Digital Technology from Monash University.
