Matt Flannery serves as the Major Projects Director at Aurecon, leading efforts in New Zealand's largest infrastructure projects since June 2001. With a hands-on approach, Matt ensures the deployment of Aurecon’s best resources in project and commercial management, as well as technical capabilities. Previously, Matt held the position of Leader of the Land Infrastructure Team in Auckland/Wellington, delivering diverse infrastructure and land development projects both domestically and internationally. Early in the career, Matt held roles such as Technical Director, Senior Associate, and Senior Engineer at Duffill Watts & TSE Ltd, and worked as a Design Engineer at Bay of Plenty Regional Council. Matt holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) from the University of Canterbury, an MBA from La Trobe University, and a Graduate Diploma in Management from Deakin University.
