Miriam Williams

Miriam Williams is a Senior Consultant at Aurecon since April 2023, previously serving as a Senior Analyst and Policy Analyst at the Ministry for the Environment | Manatū mō te Taiao from August 2021 to April 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Planner, Intermediate Planner, and Planner within Panuku Development Auckland and Auckland Council, where responsibilities involved planning across multiple departments and high-quality public advisory services. Additional earlier positions include a Graduate Planner at Auckland Council and teaching roles in both New Zealand and China. Miriam holds a Master's Degree in Urban Planning from The University of Auckland, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Geographical Information Systems from The Manchester Metropolitan University, and a Trinity Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Edenz College. A Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and French was also completed at The University of Auckland.
