Rich Mitchell

Rich Mitchell has extensive experience in the transport and communications systems engineering field, currently serving as an Associate and ITS ANZ Lead at Aurecon since October 2013, focusing on integrated transport and mobility solutions. Previously, Rich held senior engineering and management roles at Parsons Brinckerhoff and RailCorp, overseeing teams of consultants and managing critical operations for rail communication systems. Rich's career began in the 1990s with foundational roles at British Gas and Technosys Ltd, progressing through various engineering positions to develop expertise in network design and communication systems across multiple industries, including rail, mining, and power. Rich holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Sheffield Hallam University, along with various specialized training and certifications.
