Robert Underwood

Robert Underwood is a Renewable Energy Engineer at Aurecon since October 2023, specializing in large-scale solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems. Previous experience includes serving as a Solutions Architect at Smart Commercial Solar, where innovative energy solutions were provided for commercial and industrial clients, and working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at UNSW, focusing on material stresses in the solar industry. Additionally, Robert tutored university students in wind energy converters, led a student project for Drought Resistance Uganda aimed at empowering Ugandan women through engineering solutions, and acted as a Renewable Energy Analyst at BloombergNEF, analyzing employment forecasts in the renewable sector in Australia. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy Engineering from UNSW and a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Economics from The University of Queensland.
