Scott Smith

Scott Smith is the Managing Director of Transportation for Aurecon in Australia, responsible for leading transport market teams and overseeing a diverse portfolio of projects. With a career at Aurecon spanning over two decades, Scott has held various leadership roles, including Market Operations Director and Industry Director for Transport in Victoria and South Australia, where the focus was on client relationships and business strategy. Previous experience includes serving as Client Director for Infrastructure in Asia and Infrastructure Leader for Aurecon's Hong Kong operations. Scott holds a Master of Business Administration from Macquarie Business School and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from The University of Queensland. Additionally, Scott is actively involved in industry organizations, including roles as Director for the Australasian Railway Association and Co-Chair for the Construction Property Infrastructure Committee at AustCham Hong Kong & Macau.
