Soltice Morrison (Ngāti Whakaue, Rereahu-Maniapoto) serves as the Māori Strategy Lead at Aurecon, where they lead the development and implementation of the company’s Māori strategy, enhancing te ao Māori values in design and engineering. With a background as a Geologist, Contaminated Land Practitioner, and Environmental Research Scientist, Soltice has adeptly integrated technical and cultural perspectives throughout their career. They were recognized as a Next Generation Leader finalist at the Infrastructure NZ Building Nations Awards and named one of ‘25 Trailblazing Women’ by YWCA Aotearoa NZ. In addition to their professional work, Soltice holds board positions with Te Nehenehenui Trust and Water New Zealand, while also engaging in ocean conservation as a qualified PADI Divemaster.
