Stephen Vig is a seasoned engineering professional with significant experience in the rail systems sector. Currently serving as the Discipline Lead for Rail Systems at Aurecon since December 2007, Stephen oversees the rail systems team in Queensland, providing advice and technical solutions to facilitate integrated rail projects. Previously, as the Testing and Commissioning Manager for the Trackstar Alliance, Stephen contributed to over a billion dollars in railway infrastructure projects for Queensland Rail. Earlier career roles included Testing and Commissioning Manager at WRSA, where Stephen managed large-scale international rail projects in China and Hong Kong, and positions at ELPRO Technologies focusing on system and electrical design for SCADA systems. Stephen holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Engineering in Electronic Systems and Computing and Information Technology from Queensland University of Technology.
