Tim Watterson

Tim Watterson serves as the Major Projects Director for Infrastructure at Aurecon since January 2016, overseeing design and leadership of major transport and civil engineering projects. A seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management roles across various companies, Tim has led significant projects including the Christchurch Northern Corridor and East West Link PPP in Australia. Prior to Aurecon, Tim held leadership positions at Te Ahu a Turanga Alliance, North Canterbury Transport Infrastructure Recovery (NCTIR), Jacobs, Sinclair Knight Merz, Atkins, and Arup, delivering multidisciplinary infrastructure services and achieving notable team growth and project successes. Tim holds a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from Newcastle University, awarded between 1992 and 1996.
