Tom Underhill

Tom Underhill is an experienced professional in the field of engineering and project management, currently serving as an Associate and Carbon Markets Practice Leader at Aurecon since November 2021. In this role, Tom is responsible for implementing board-mandated strategic initiatives, managing M&A activities, and overseeing the Sustainability, Climate Change & Risk Advisory service group. Prior to this position, Tom worked at WSP from June 2017 to November 2021 as an Associate, where responsibilities included developing the UK business strategy for the Defence sector and managing delivery for infrastructure projects. Earlier experiences at Aurecon included serving as a Project Manager, successfully delivering high-value projects across North Queensland, and as a Civil Engineer, where innovative analytical approaches were utilized to tackle complex civil infrastructure challenges. Tom holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Civil Engineering from The University of Queensland.
