Tony Peglas is an experienced Principal Tunnelling at Aurecon, having served since July 2004 and contributing to significant projects such as the Torrens to Darlington Tender, Western Harbour Tunnel, and North East Link Project. With a strong background in design, Tony is a member of the Aurecon Design Academy and has representation on the Austroads Tunnels Task Force, focusing on safety and sustainable outcomes in road tunnel projects. Previous roles include Technical Director Infrastructure where contributions were made to numerous major projects, as well as positions at Mott Connell and Mott MacDonald where noteworthy infrastructure designs were developed. Educated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from The University of Queensland, Tony is further enhancing expertise through a Graduate Certificate in Design Management at RMIT University and engagement in design-led thinking.
